I spent today packing even though I don't leave for four days. My flights take me from Portland to Chicago, then Chicago to Tokyo, then Tokyo to Bangkok. I then plan to spend two days in Bangkok before flying on to Paro. My friend Ed will be meeting me in Bangkok for the final flight to Paro together.
The flight to Tokyo is 12 hours. It occurred to me that my Nook cannot stay powered that long so I ran to Barnes and Noble and picked up two science fiction books. There is a twelve hour time change between EDT and Bangkok so I am expecting SEVERE jet lag.
